Micks help Barney pop the question
Wraggle Taggle tenor banjo player Mick O'Connor and bandleader Mick Bailey helped London film director Barney Copeliss pop the question on Saturday 10th April 2004. |

Barney contacted the boys after finding Mick O'Connor's number on the Wraggle Taggle website. So the duo found themselves sitting on a bench at the top of Parliament Hill, Hampstead Heath, London praying for a break in the rain and going over the lyrics of "Bare Necessities" from "The Jungle Book"
Barney walked up with Vivien, his girlfriend of 13 years
|
and to her suprise shouted "Hit it guys". Wraggle Taggle bandleader Mick Bailey said "Vivien seemed bemused, but it was great to see the smile spread over her face as we played their favorite song. Then the couple left us behind as they went off for a romantic walk. It was Barney's intention to propose to Vivien but the outcome is as yet unknown. Watch this space!"
